After a long wait/hiatus I'm gonna be working on the shirt. I'll be sewing most of this weekend so don't expect me to be online. I'll post pics once the thing is done and probably when I start up on some of the bags that I'm going to be making. I'll post later.

AnimeFEST 2006

Geared up and ready to go even though I didn't get any of my cosplays done at all. I'm gonna try the frontless binding tomorrow for a test run. Then on Saturday I'm gonna dress in whatever I feel like and on Sunday I'm gonna get Rachel to put the henna on me and I'm gonna attempt the gender switch cosplay that I didn't get to do at A-Kon. I'll be getting internet when I sign in and pay for it so that Rachel and Sakata don't have to worry about it and post con reports each night and post pictures as well. I'm gonna get to see Greg again and all my really wonderful friends that I haven't seen for two months basically. I got all that I needed to get and I'm ready to go. I keep on hearing Ready, Steady, Go in my head and I'm totally geared for this con. *is thinking positive thoughts* I'll post pictures soon everyone and con reports.

Cosplay # 1 for AnimeFEST

Just to let you all know I'll probably be starting up on the shirt that I'm going to use for my mage outfit on Thursday. Mom surged the fabric this morning and tossed it into to wash and I tossed it into the dryer. Pics will probably be up of some of the fabric and the pattern. I'll be taking in progress pics with my digital camera of the stages for the shirt. Will edit after I get started.

I'm starting on the shirt tonight along with my mom for guidance ~~(help with basically all of it)~~. Will post pics after we stop for the night.

Image heavy once again

A picture of the pattern after I got it all cut out and ironed.

A picture of the back the collar and another portion after mom and I had finished pinning three of the pieces and then cutting the pieces out. Front view with the pattern showing.

The broadcloth of the trial run piece so if I make any mistakes it's alright on this one instead of ruining the brocade that we got for the shirt. Note that the fabric is actually a very nice purple but for some reason it turned out blue in the flash.

Pictures later

Tonight I along with the help of my mom will start up on the trial run top. We're going to buy the notions for the darts on the way home and then we're going to start up on the top. I'm also starting to desing out jewelry for the mage outfit. I'll get pictures of the drawings when I finish them and I'll also be posting on dreamstarstudio. I'll probably be making them sometime next week or on the weekend depeding. Color schemes for the jewelry are picked out already.

A genderswitched Watari and me as Muraki. Evidently this Watari finally got a working sample of the genderswitch potion. Offered me some. I really dislike this pic because I realize I'm standing at a bad angle and the hair isn't covering my eye. *facepalm* Next time I'll pose differently.

Sexy no Jutsu Chuunin exam Gaara. I found this to be very...interesting. Most of the SnJ cosplayers were rather slutty but you've gotta give them points for effort with altering the outfits.

A very good Yomiko Readman from Read or Die. *wanted to squish/hug her* She was so cute.

jmercedesd as Sakura and sakata as Sasuke. *is rather upset now that I didn't get a picture of them as ANBU Sakura and ANBU Sasuke.

A relatively good Kazekage Gaara as compared to the rest of the Kazekage Gaara's.

Me and the Gojyo crossplayer at the con. It took me 2 hours to find her. This has made me want to pose Hakkai/Gojyo and Hakkai x Gojyo with _laura_c Unfortunately they won't be posted here. They will be friends locked if I even post them at all.

Another uber rare male cosplayer. This time it's Sesshoumaru-sama. ::fangirl float:: His tail was awesome. I'm fairly dissapointed that I didn't get the picture of him cosplaying InuPapa with the Kagome that changed to InuMama. They were very good.

A Karasu from Yu Yu Hakusho. She was hunting for Youko Kurama's and Human Kurama's the entire time she was there and putting them on a leash. I found this rather amusing. Stood in the registration line with her and chatted a bit while she wasn't in costume for her crossplay.

General Manga collection

This is the entry that will show pictures of my regular manga series. In here will be everything other than my CLAMP collection, Kazuya Minekura collection and eventually my Hiromu Arakawa collection, Maki Murakami collection and Moriyama Daisuke collection. Hiromu Arakawa-Hagane no Renkinjitsushi. Maki Murakami-Gravitation, Gamerz Heaven and anything else of hers' that I can get my hands on. Daisuke Moriyama-Chrono Crusade and anything else that he's done because his art style rocks. I eventually hope to have all of the DVDs, manga and as much merchandise as I can get my hands on for each series.

Will post pictures as soon as I can find my digital camera.

Art book,, doujinshi and print collection

The name of the entry is fairly evident. I'll post all pictures of my art book collection and my non Saiyuki doujinshi in this entry since I'm putting all of my Saiyuki related stuff and anything by Kazuya Minekura in an entry since it's probably going to get so big. I'm also going to put pictures of all prints and commissions that I get at conventions and things drawn for me. This entry will be open as well. The only locked entry will be for my "adult" prints and OTP photoshoots.

CLAMP Collection

This is the entry where all of my CLAMP stuff will go when I get pictures of it. I'm just using this as holder space for the moment since I don't have an updated picture of my CLAMP collection. I'll have the CLAMP no Kiseki's that I own be the first set of pictures and then the art books, then the manga, and then anime and regular merchandise like keychains, pins, plushies, and figurines if I ever get them up. Will post pictures later when I find my camera.
